Profiles Miles Wallace Miles has over 14 years of professional business experience and spent the past 10 years with Federated Investors, a world-class investment company and one of the largest mutual fund companies in the United States. Mr. Wallace attained the position of Vice President at Federated and was involved in all aspects of its business including: technology strategies; e-Commerce; marketing; sales; product development; and operations. Mr. Wallace has extensive human resource management and project management experience having managed marketing, sales and technology teams throughout his professional career. Miles' role with Ehrlich Wesen & Dauer (EWD) is that of Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer. Early on in Mr. Wallace's career with Federated, Mr. Wallace was instrumental in implementing Federated's first network of personal computers within its various corporate divisions. Additionally, Mr. Wallace created the first online project management tool (Alladin) for use by Federated's Marketing Communications Division in 1994. Alladin provided client profitability information previously not available to Federated's management. Mr. Wallace was also the architect of a technology solution that allowed Federated to internalize and automate its legally required documentation processes including web-based shareholder access to prospectuses and other marketing and legally required documents so necessary in the mutual fund industry. Most recently Miles was involved in Federated's complex Y2K securities industry compliance initiative within its business units. Mr. Wallace was also instrumental in establishing Federated's eCommerce activities, heading up internet efforts around aggregation services for high net worth clients, Treasury Workstation functionality for corporate clients, as well as, various sales and value-added financial services products for Federated's community bank clients. Mr. Wallace received his Bachelors degree from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio, and his Masters degree from the University of Pittsburgh. He also attended the Yale University Divinity School focusing on the interdisciplinary roles of the arts and theology. |
